This is a guided tour that takes about 4 hours or half a day. Famous for the endemic Kirks red colobus monkey, the Jozani Forest tour follows a fascinating nature trail through Zanzibar's last remaining natural indigenous forests. There are many varieties of birds, antelope and monkey species to see. The Jozani Forest is the only remaining natural vegetation on the island. It is home to many endemic species of fauna and flora. Here you will see the red colobus monkey, velvet cats, a variety of small trees, shrubs, swamps and grasses. When walk through the mangrove board you will see prawns, and different species of mangroves.
