Zanzibar Safari Club is a superb 3-Star resort with elegantly decorated resort reminiscent of legendary . The club, situated amidst a 6 acre tropical garden, is located on a magnificent beachfront on the picturesque East coast in the Uroa area. It is about 35 km (40 minutes) from and the airport and easily the most ideal place to conclude a Tanzania safari holiday. Its buildings are surrounded by lush groves of mature palm trees, making for a real idyllic island setting. Indoors, you’ll find a select assortment of antique furniture combined with the modern amenities you’d expect from a top-class hotel. The architecture and atmosphere illustrate a fusion of African, Indian and Arabic styles.

All rooms are situated in free-standing chalets surrounded by the hotel’s beautiful landscaped gardens. The rooms have a selection of traditional hand-carved Arabian furniture including pretty Swahili beds with draped mosquito nets.

• The Ocean View Restaurant serves good Swahili fare, including grilled seafood and meats. They use only the freshest fruit, vegetables, fish, seafood and meat, complemented by the island’s great variety of spices
• The Moonlight Bar, situated on the beachfront, the Mashala Bar both offer great views of the ocean and a fun cocktail, a well-deserved sundowner or simply just a cool drink after a hot day.
