Overview
Breezes Beach Club & Spa is a family-owned hotel that's recently been awarded a 5-Star grading and strives towards the philosophy of providing a home away from home comfort.  The resort is ideally situated on the East coast of Zanzibar with endless beaches, shady palm trees and a dazzling blue ocean. Although Breezes is smaller than some resorts, it can get pretty crowded over peak season. The atmosphere of the main lodge is romantic with flowing fabrics, draped from the makuti (palm-thatch) roof, fluttering in the balmy shore breezes. Hand-carved furniture, spice tables and antiques add a touch of Zanzibar charm. The hotel has recently been given an interior decorating facelift and is looking beautiful. 
 
Accommodation
• The 70-rooms at the resort with spacious interiors that are elegantly decoratedare are situated in lush, palm-lined gardens a short distance from the beach.

• All the rooms are identical in terms of size, décor and facilities, but the superior deluxe and deluxe rooms are closer to the sea than the standard rooms.

• All the rooms have the convenience of air conditioning, a mini-bar fridge, a safe, an en-suite bathroom and a sofa bed to sleep a third person.

Facilities
• The beach resort facilities include a dive centre, watersports equipment, fitness centre with a gym and a flood lit tennis court.

• The gloriously large swimming pool is a welcome alternative for cooling off during low tide.

Activities
• The resort offers a range os marine activities including SSI diving courses for beginners, as well as sailing, snorkelling, surfboarding, waterskiing and scuba diving for the more experienced underwater explorers.

• Half and full day excursions to Prison Island tour and Jozani Forest tour. Take the historical Stone Town tour or the Spice tour.

Dining
• The resort has four restaurants. Salama provides delicious lunch and a four-course table d’hote dinner or a themed buffet with local entertainment and Makuti offers a candle-lit a la carte menu specialising in seafood.

• Honeymooners are treated to a private beachfront dining area called The Tides. They only accommodate two people per evening and offer a special menu.

• Breakers is conveniently located under the palms on the beachfront. They’re known for their good fresh meat and seafood barbeque.
