Overview
Tarangire Sopa Lodge is situated on the eastern side of the opposite Tarangire Hill. It is a large resort type hotel offering a variety of facilities. The hotel is a member of a large group so you are assured of any Western comforts. Tarangire Sopa Lodge's outbuildings really look strange; designed in the style of an elephant, which seems like a strange concept, but actually allows for a complementary lay out for the rooms and the communal area. The view from the lodge is spectacular, overlooking part of the Tarangire Hill.
Accommodation
• Each of the 75 rooms contains twin queen size beds and has all the basic luxuries such as air-con, balcony and showers.

All rooms are decorated plainly, but are pleasant with a small lounge in the front portion and a spacious ensuite bathroom with
with bidets and hair dryers.
Facilities
• The makuti-style thatched roof over the reception and dining room is quite beautiful and is the ideal place for an afternoon leisure.
• There is a large swimming pool is a fantastic place to go for a circular swim after between lunch.
Activities
• Since the lodge is inside Tarangire, there are few outdoor activities, except for the use of the pool area.
• The lodge offers game-viewing experience either by way of guided walking safaris or game-drives in open-sided safari vehicles.
Dining
•The restaurant food is reliably good, and with a rooftop barbeque area and poolside tables, the choice of where to eat can be as confusing as what to eat!
Tarangire Sopa Lodge – Amani Tours View
Tarangire Sopa Lodge is well positioned at the centre of Tarangire, with excellent safari opportunities in every direction. A personal favourite out of lodge as there is a very uncluttered feel to the place. The only drawback is that the decoration of the rooms 9 to 35 is beginning to tire. However, the rest of the rooms are great. Managment will make sure that your stay is well catered for, the bar is a fantasic place to relax in after a day in the park.
