Overview
Lobo Wildlife Lodge is the situated is northern most lodge in Serengeti National Park. The lodge is built into a massive kopje, merging completely into the surrounding landscape, considered to be one of the most beautiful lodges in Tanzania, its beauty can be described as breathtaking. Lobo Wildlife Lodge was one of the two original accommodations, hand picked and specifically built around Lobo area in Northern Serengeti. This was done strategically due to the abundance of resident and migratory wildlife that would often traverse the area at various times of the year. At Lobo, a variety of wildlife can be easily viewed from the bedroom window, the swimming pool and the rock top. A short drive away leads one into the heart of the Serengeti Plains teeming with wildlife. It is ideal to stay at this lodge during the periods end of May to end of June as the Lobo area is abundant with wildlife.

Accommodation
• The lodge features 76 rooms with private bathrooms and a restaurant situated amidst huge walls of granite.

• All rooms have a view over the Serengeti plains, and are naturally ventilated and fitted with mosquito nets over the air vents.

Facilities
• Lobo has a superb natural rock swimming pool with excellent panoramic views of the Serengeti plain.

Activities
• The lodge specialises in the annual wildebeest migration but also organised day wildlife watching and game driving safaris in Serengeti.

• Serengeti ballon safaris and cultural visits to neaby Masaai villages are also arranged. Climb atop the kopje to the hotel's sundowner deck, and watch the horizon ablaze with the setting African sun.

Dining
• Meals are served in the Fig Tree Restaurant prepared by well-trained chefs serving a variety of international and local menus.
