Overview
Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is perched on the southern rim of the incomparable . It is built mainly from natural stone and local wood and timber. The panoramic windows encompass a superb view of the 311 sq. km crater teeming with wildlife. The lodge offers breathtaking views of the crater. It is 2,286 meters above sea level.
On the other side of the glass things aren't quite so spectacular. Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is somewhere you should only stay if you are looking for a cheap place to spend the night.
The landing airstrip for domestic airlines in only 2 minutes far from the lodge, making trips easy and comfortable in these lands of huge dimensions.
Accommodation

There are 75 rooms en suite with bathrooms, each of which have good views into the Ngorongoro Crater and the wildlife below.
The rooms are basic, but clean and there is plenty of hot water.

• The stunning Panoramic Restaurant and Rhino Lounge Bar afford from the wide terrace breathtaking views over the volcanic Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera.
• There is a well stocked library complete with information about the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A professional nurse is also available in the lodge for medical assistance.

• Food tends to be a large buffet where quantity appears to be of far greater significance than quality.
