Overview
Kudu Lodge situated near Karatu, between Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Eyasi. It is therefore the perfect base point for Safaris in the northern circuit. The lodge is perched on the jagged rim of the crater. It is comfortable, well appointed en-suite bungalows, all free standing and set among lush tropical gardens, with sweeping views of the camping grounds, the surrounding hills and farms. The tranquility of the natural surroundings is carried over into the rustic, but clean and well-equipped accommodation and ablution facilities. Accommodation is provided on a self catering basis.

Accommodation
• The Kudu Lodge has comfortable, well appointed en-suite bungalows, all free standing and set among lush tropical gardens, with sweeping views of the camping grounds, the surrounding hills and farms.

• They are simple but tastefully furnished and each unit has a private verandah. The bungalows can cater for the maximum of 30 clients at a time; all are priced competitively to suit all sorts of clients.

• The lodge also has very large, well shaded and fenced camping grounds with facilities. The camping ground can accommodate 60 tents at a time.

Facilities
• There is a cozy, well stocked lively bar, with a huge fire place to keep the guests warm on cooler evenings, you can either tuck yourself into the garden chair, with an iced drink on your table while enjoying the sun set over Ngorongoro hills.

• The lodge offers darts, pool, volleyball, ... There is a small internet café, plus satelite TV inside the bar.

Activities
• The lodge arranges day wildlife watchingand horseback riding around the lodge area and game driving safaris to the Ngorongoro Crater floor.

• Guided walking safaris will take you through the country side/village/ coffee farms, waterfall with a chance for cultural interactions with local people by visiting the local market, the village school or traditional iraq houses.

Dining
• The food is simple, but delicious with fresh vegetables featuring both african and international cuisine plus varieties of savoury pies befitting an establishment of this exclusivity. The chef will gladly try to accommodate special dietary needs upon request.
