Overview
Safari Spa Polo is is situated in a valley to the South of Arusha, on volcanic hills with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The lodge has an ideal location very near the base of Mt. Meru and on clear days you can see Kilimanjaro from the rooftop terrace in the main building. As the name says, the owners are keen polo players. They have their own stables and polo field on the premises.  The whole place is like being on a farm in the mountains, it is stunning. The gardens are in immaculate condition with horses roaming around. The owners also run a health hydro from the farm where guests can relax and get rid of all the city stress. The rooms are scattered individually in the garden and a renovated barn serves as the bar and restaurant area. There is also a cozy fireplace upstairs where you can sit and relax.

Accommodation
• There are 8 double cottages and 2 single rooms in poolside cottages of the Safari Spa, decorated in "Out of Africa" style. The rooms are set idyllically around the lodge's property.

• Each ensuite room overlooks the pool area and the lawns, and has a small verandah where you can sit and take in the African sun. All rooms are very exclusive and elegantly furnished to colonial style, with a high attention to details.

Facilities
• Safari Spa facilities include a large swimming pool, a tennis court, a fitness centre with a fully equipped gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Aromatherapy massage is available for those guests who have arrived back from climbing Kilimanjaro.

• The adjacent Nduruma Polo Club offers excellent polo opportunities for all levels, stick and ball sessions are played in the morning followed by evening club chukkas with the local resident team.

Activities
• The lodge offers a variety of activities in beautiful and natural surroundings. excursions to the nearby flower farms, Mt. Meru, Arusha National Park and the foothills of Kilimanjarocan be arranged.

• Polo Tournaments are held on the Safari Spa's estate at certain times of the year. The estate has over 45 well-schooled ponies. Riding is available and guests are very welcome to watch the polo tournaments from the comfort of the Club House.

Dining
• Healthy home-made meals are prepared to individual tastes. The food is fantasticly done in the way you would expect from a farm from fresh fruit and vegetabels.
