Overview
Rivertrees Country Inn is a rustic farm lodge nestled between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro between the cities of Arusha and Moshi. The lodge with its old colonial style ambiance is situated in natural gardens along the Usa River. Rivertree operates its own community project, Bahati, which helps women and children. They train women to make jewellery using beadwork and locally available items, thus ensuring self-funding of the project, although donations form an invaluable source.

Accommodation
• Rivertrees has eight self-contained guestrooms that accommodate up to 24 guests. The rooms are located in the main farmhouse and within the spacious gardens along the river guaranteeing privacy, personal attention and good service.

• Emphasis is on providing comfortable accommodation, with each room individually styled and uniquely furnished with it's own character.

• There are also two 'River Cottages' which offer private decks and wood burning fire places.

Facilities
• Rivertrees also specializes in catering for seminars, weddings, conferences, and corporate workshops for incentive groups and other special occasions.

• Further facilities: swimming pool, e-mail, fax, internet services, a small gift shop, satellite TV and laundry services.

Activities
• Guests can half day walking trips to the nearby villages to experience real african culture, or stroll around Usa River and the well manicured gardens.

• Take a game drive at the near by Arusha National Park or take a tour of Cultural Heritage to purchase wood carvings and Tanzanite gemstones.

Dining
• Rivertrees offers excellent country cuisine, using fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables grown in the their own gardens. The aroma of freshly baked bread, herbs and spices wafing in from the kitchens will peek your appetite.
