Overview
Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge is situated between Arusha and Moshi (Kilimanjaro International Airport), in the heart of beautiful, natural scenery . Forty acres of coffee plantation surround the lodge and you will find a charming atmosphere together with every comfort. This is situated in Northern Tanzania is a charismatic and unusual find, seemingly situated miles from anywhere, in the midst of the Moivaro Coffee Plantation at the foot holds of Mount Meru. From the hotel you have a fantastic view of Mt. Meru. Guests are housed in individual chalets, all well and comfortably furnished and set in fine gardens that strech for approximately 2 km along the plantation itself. The lodge is an ideal starting point for the safaris in the Northern Circuit and for Mount Kilimanjaro climbs.

Accommodation
• Moivaro has a total of 25 double, triple or single cottages well positioned in the beautiful gardens. Each cottage is individually placed around the coffee plantation which ensures they are private and very cozy.

• Each of the picturesque cottages has fairly basic interiors although very neat and comfortable with its own verhanda and ensuite bathroom.

Facilities
• There is a swimming pool, children's playground, bar and restaurant as well as jogging path, massage room and internet facilities.

Activities
• Guests can half day walking trips to the nearby Maasai village to experience real african culture, the banana beer brewery, a locally operated biogas plant, the Ngurumansi Crater, and the local elementary school.

• Take a game drive at the near by Arusha National Park or take a tour of Cultural Heritage to purchase wood carvings and Tanzanite gemstones.

• Go a day trip to other nearby attractions, easily accessible from the hotel, including trekking Mt. Meru, visitng the Arusha museum or shopping at the Arusha market.

Dining
• All meals are prepared in the restaurant with a focus on international cuisine with some local dishes using fresh fruit and vegetable from the surrounding farms.
