Overview
Hatari Lodge is located just outside Arusha National Park, between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, just 30 minutes from Arusha Town. The lodge is set in a peaceful and beautifully-landscaped gardens with a profusion of flora adjacent to a quiet residential area in the suburbs of Arusha Town just 1km from the town center, and 45 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport. rom Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) and Arusha. The family-owned lodge consists of three buildings beautifully situated in acacia woodland. The oldest building serves as a large central living and dining room where guests will enjoy a delicious cuisine. Here you will find a cosy lounge area and bar with a veranda and viewing deck, as well as a library. Sitting around the open fireplace, which the owners Krüger and Mallory enjoyed so much guests are entertained with information and stories about the flora, fauna and history of Arusha.

Accommodation
• There are only 9 rooms in 3 buildings with breathtaking views onto the Momella swamp and across to the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro.

• Each room has an open fireplace and a spacious bathroom en suite, decorated in the 60’s and 70’s style- the time of "Hatari!" and the beginning of safaris to the North.

Facilities
• The breakfast terrace, bordered by sweet smelling acacias, as well as the viewing platform onto the Momella swamps offers impressive views of Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro and the wildlife from close by.

Activities
• The lodge offers itself a wide range of excurions including walking tours, boat safaris on the Momella Lakes, and cultural visits of local communities.

Dining
• All meals are served in the old building, which doubles as a lounge. The delicious cuisine, more like home cooking, varies from day to day.
