Overview
Arusha Hotel was built in 1894 and then purchased in 1927 by an American coffee farmer. The hotel is located in the heart of Arusha Town next to the famous clock tower, only 2-minutes from the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) and is ideal of a start or end to a trip to the acclaimed Northern Safari Circuit. Restored recently, the Arusha Hotel underwent an extensive renovation and refurbishment program, but still maintains all of its historical charm, and proudly provides a level of service and style reminiscent of a bygone era. The hotel's decor is softly coloured in soothing hues, beautifully appointed with quality furniture and artwork, and exceptionally well planned for the comfort and convenience of travellers on pre or post safari stay-overs. There are 3-acres of sprawling lush tropical landscaped gardens surrounding this majestic hotel.

Accommodation
• The hotel has 86 stylish rooms which include 4 Suites, 20 Executive Rooms and 62 Standard Rooms, many with breath-taking views of Mount Meru and the sprawling gardens below.

• The rooms are elegantly furnished with en-suite bathrooms equipped with bathroom amenities and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room is fitted with satellite television, hair dryer and an electronic safe.

Facilities
• It’s set in beautifully landscaped gardens with all the amenities and luxury for the discerning traveler. The tropical gardens are home to many birds and exotic plants, an ideal setting for wedding receptions and outdoor functions.

• The hotel has three function rooms:   the fully equipped Jumuika conference room; Kikao Executive Boardroom and Porini, a multi-function hall that opens out onto the terrace.

• The Hatari Tavern (named after John Wayne’s movie made in 1962) is made complete with relaxed informal and comfortable surroundings.

Activities
• Guests can take nature walks or go bird watching in the flowered gardens around the hotel. Arrange a safari holiday to the attractions in the North.

• Take a game drive at the near by Arusha National Park or take a tour of Cultural Heritage to purchase wood carvings and Tanzanite gemstones.

• Go a day trip to other nearby attractions, easily accessible from the hotel, including trekking Mount Meru, visitng the Arusha museum or shopping at the Arusha market.

Dining
• The dining experience incudes buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner with appetizing contemporary modern cuisine prepared from the freshest produces, flavored and garnished using only the highest quality.
