Overview
Arumeru River Lodge was constructed on the site of a former coffee farm and is situated only 700 meter south of the main Arusha - Moshi road, just a 35 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) and 15 minutes from Arusha. This new lodge is spread over 12 acres of beautifully furbished gardens and natural bushland, bordering on the Arumeru River lined with large old trees. It is ideally located for a start or end to a safari to the acclaimed Northern Safari Circuit.

Accommodation
• There are only twenty spacious, comfortable rooms with ensuite bathrooms and verandahs in ten chalets, all on the ground foor. The atmosphere of the rooms relies on the traditional eco-friendly African architecture.

Facilities
• The main building contains the resort facilities, a comfortable lounge and the bar, the reception with Telephone/Fax, Internet corner, a fashion boutique and souvernir shop, and the restaurant.

• The terrace restaurant with magnificient views of the mountains Meru and Kilimanjaro overlooks the tropical gardens and a large solar-heated swimming pool.

Activities
• Guests can half day walking trips to the nearby villages to experience real african culture, or stroll around Usa River and the well manicured gardens. Arrange a holiday to the Nothern Circuit attractions.

• Take a game drive at the near by Arusha National Park or take a tour of Cultural Heritage to purchase wood carvings and Tanzanite gemstones.

• Go a day trip to other nearby attractions, easily accessible from the hotel, including trekking Mt. Meru, visitng the Arusha museum or shopping at the Arusha market.

Dining
•. The restaurant offers exquisite international and African cuisine, à la carte and buffet. A special light lunch and snack menu for food is served during the day on the terrace and at the swimming pool. The chefs also make you comfortable with fresh made bread, cakes and pastries.
